The program is free to join and open to individuals and businesses. Signing up creates a WestNet affiliate account (a login only — it does not include a westnet.ca email mailbox). Existing WestNet customers and account holders may also refer and earn.
You earn $100 USD for each new customer you refer who purchases and pays in full for an annual dedicated-IP VPN plan. Monthly plans, renewals, trials, and your own purchases do not earn a commission.
Each affiliate has a unique referral link. When someone clicks it, a tracking cookie is stored for 90 days and the sale is attributed to you at checkout on a last-click basis. Every order is also recorded in WestNet's authoritative order log and reconciled against your referrals, so a qualifying signup is not lost if a browser clears cookies.
A commission is held for 45 days after the sale before it becomes payable. This window lets refunds, chargebacks and fraudulent orders clear. If the referred order is refunded, charged back, or found fraudulent within or after this period, the commission is void and may be reversed.
Commissions are paid in USD. US affiliates are paid by Zelle; Canadian affiliates are paid by Interac e-Transfer. You must provide a valid payout handle (a Zelle email or phone, or an Interac email). You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn.
Commissions are earned only on genuine, arms-length sales to brand new customers on the annual plan. The following void a commission and can suspend or close your account: self-referrals or referring your own or connected accounts; fake, incentivized, coerced or fraudulent signups; orders later refunded, charged back, or cancelled; spam or unsolicited bulk messaging; misrepresenting WestNet, its pricing or its features; bidding on or impersonating WestNet trademarks; and cookie stuffing, forced clicks or any manipulation of tracking.
WestNet reserves the right to withhold, reduce, delay, reverse or refuse any payment if we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, chargeback risk, self-dealing, or a breach of these terms. We may hold or delay payouts on new affiliate accounts and on first payouts while we verify activity, and we may require identity or tax documentation before paying. We monitor for unusual patterns. Our determination of a qualifying referral, and of any suspected abuse, is final, and our total liability under this program is limited to commissions that are actually earned, cleared, and undisputed.
WestNet may update the commission amount, hold period, payout methods, or these terms, and may suspend or end the program, at any time. Commissions already earned and cleared will be honored. WestNet's determination of a qualifying referral is final.
